Can you see the Northern Lights from bed?
The lodge’s panoramic glass surrounds the sleeping area, so you can watch the sky from bed. Aurora appearances depend on darkness, cloud cover and solar activity, and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
When should you visit?
Northern Lights are possible on dark, clear nights, usually from late August through April. Check current Icelandic weather and aurora forecasts during your stay.
Warm while you wait
Enjoy your private hot tub or sauna while keeping an eye on the sky, then return to the heated lodge. The experience stays peaceful even on nights when the aurora does not appear.
